We thought that since Corina and Addie are 3 this year we have to get official Santa pictures done at the mall.  Carl and I knew the line would be way too long on a weekend so Laura and I took them today instead.  We put on their pretty Christmas dresses and they were so excited.  On the way there I explained to them they would be sitting on Santa's lap for a picture.  They sat on Santa's lap at the tree farm last weekend, and they are pretty much fearless in general so I thought it would be a piece of cake.  There was hardly any line when we got there, they saw Santa and were even more excited.  When it was our turn Corina was a little shy but had no problem getting up and sitting right on Santa.  Addie however decided this Santa was scary and clung to me, saying, no! no! no! He tried to explain to her that he needs her picture so his elves know who to make toys for but she would have none of it.  After several attempts to convince her it was okay, Santa suggested he set Corina next to him and Addie on the other side of her so she wouldn't have to be too close to him.  It worked and the resulting picture is a smiling Santa and Corina and a scared looking Addie!    Then we had to wait a long time to actually get the pictures and when the girls got antsy Lala took them on a ride up and down the elevator and bought them Starbucks.  It was a huge help.
