I just bought Snow White to add to Corina and Addie's movie collection.  We started watching it and when the dwarves first came on Corina exclaimed, "Mommy there are the dorks!"  followed by Addie, "Yay, the dorks!"  Of course I didn't correct them.  The rest of the movie they had thier usual many questions and comments,  "Mommy what are the dorks doing? Mommy that dork is funny, what is his name?  Where are the dorks going?  Why are the dorks sad?  Mommy I like the dorks!" 

I like the dorks too.

Over the weekend we made ornaments out of salt dough.  Corina and Addie decorated theirs with lots of glitter.  We finally finished this morning and put pipe cleaners on for hangers.  They took a long time finding just the perfect spots on the tree to put them.  I was doing laundry and came back in to find Snausage had eaten one, glitter and all!!  This from a dog who won't even eat popcorn or nuts.  Now I have to watch her to see if she gets sick.  :p  The bottom of our tree was finally decorated with kid friendly ornaments and now the dog is eating

I thought I would make a special breakfast for the girls this morning for something different.  It took a while but I made them vanilla french toast.  I cut it into little triangles and gave them syrup in little bowls to dip it into.  I was all proud of my effort to make a breakfast treat for them and was waiting for the "thanks mom" and "mmm this is yummy!".  However, what actually happened was they drank the syrup straight then cried for "regular" toast.  Lesson learned, simple is better even when it comes to treats.  Snausage and I enjoyed the french toast.<

So this morning I had this great little conversation with Addie while making their choco's (chocolate milk).  I had just dressed them and put some pink, of course, colored pants on Addie.  I'm in the kitchen and she comes in....

Every morning I pick weather-appropriate outfits for the girls to put on, and they do.  However, throughout the day those outfits disappear and various combinations replace them like: nothing but underwear and my slippers, pink t-shirt, black shoes and underwear, a summer dress with a winter hat...  Why don't 3 year olds like to wear an entire outfit at the same time?  The other day they dumped out the entire hamper just to get access to anything except what they had on!  Corina would actually just prefer to live in underwear and nothing else all the time if I let her.&n
